When encountering complex terrains or sudden obstacles, insufficient reactive ability can turn higher mobility into a fall risk. To address this, we developed the VRForce Treadmill—a virtual reality instrumented platform designed to improve walking ability and gait adaptability in older adults and rehabilitation patients.
The VRForce Treadmill integrates an intelligent rehabilitation treadmill, body weight support system, high-speed camera system, force plates, virtual reality system (VR), obstacle simulation system, and surround sound.It utilizes immersive interaction to achieve gait, balance, and cognitive function assessment, along with systematic training.
